'Solar System' is a term that refers to our sun and all of the planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and other celestial objects that revolve around it. This is a complex system that holds a prominent place in our universe and is critical to our understanding of planetary formation and evolution. Our solar system consists of eight planets, with the Earth being the third planet from the sun. There are four terrestrial planets - Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars; and four gas giants - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These celestial bodies, along with billions of small bodies and vast areas of space, make up the complexities of our solar system. By studying these celestial objects, scientists hope to gain a deeper understanding of the universe, its origins and its future. A good grasp of our solar system is also crucial for space exploration, astronomy, and for developing and testing theories about space and the universe. Knowing about our solar system can allow us to appreciate not only the immense scale.
